Primarily days, Monday – Friday
Between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and will accommodate a 37.5 work week

Job Summary

This position is located in the Immunization Clinical Support Section of the Immunization Branch within the Department for Public Health Division of Epidemiology and Health Planning.

The position is a health education program coordinator to lead the adolescent and adult programs within the immunization branch, conduct education and trainings in person and via webinar, attend conferences, and host monthly lunch and learn webinars.

Coordinate the adolescent and adult immunization programs through education, trainings, outreach & site visits to providers. Assists the Program Manager, Immunization Clinical Support Section Leader, and VFC Coordinator in developing agency policies & programs to benefit the health of the KY population through expanded vaccine coverage to assure coverage for populations.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Driver’s license preferred.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? YesPreferred Education/Experience

Master’s degree or 6 years of experience to substitute for education.
Program Coordination, Administrative and Supervision experience preferred
