Requires handling of average weights or objects up to 25 pounds with some sitting, standing, or walking.

Shift

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, some holidays or weekends maybe required.

Job Summary

The department of General Pediatrics seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The ideal candidate will have proven the ability to work in a team as well as independently and to be assertive and provide optimal patient care to the pediatric population in an ambulatory clinic setting.

The ability to communicate in a professional manner with patients and their families, co-workers, and physician’s is essential to delivering collaborative care to patients and excellent customer service skills is required. The ability to prioritize and organize and the ability to navigate the electronic computer system in order to appropriately document patient care.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced work environment.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience

Associate’s Degree plus one or more years related experience preferred.
