Course Description:

This course taught by experts in the field. Will review the internal controls, fund management processes, reporting and others skills required when working with Federal Contracts and Grants. Beginning with the foundational terminology, types of contracts and grants, and internal controls before delving deeper into CPSR Audits and Single Audits. This will be a case based class utilizing hands on exercises.

Instructor Duties:

The instructor will be responsible for developing the course content including videos and assignments as applicable. Identifying a textbook or course materials and establishing a grading standard. The instructor will present course content to students in written material, lectures or discussions, video recordings and through feedback on assignments. This will be a case based class where students can use examples from work or from other companies to create a plan to manage and review a Federal Contract or Grant checking all of the boxes required for compliance. Student engagement will be a very important component of this course.

Minimum Qualifications:

Professional hands on experience with either Auditing Federal Contracts and Grants or Managing Contract and Grant funds including compliance.
Teaching Experience Preferred
Advanced degree.
