Manages and develops programming and/or events to engage community partners with the College; coordinates education and enrichment opportunities for the citizens of Tarrant County.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Assists in executing and/or managing special projects for the department, particularly programming to promote community enrichment and engagement with community partners, adults, and youth/children
•Meets with community partners to discover relationship opportunities
•Assists in executing and/or managing internal and external events
•Coordinates the development and implementation of program/project goals and objectives, and performs research and analysis in support of assignments
•Partners with internal departments, stakeholders, and external clients on tactics and strategic planning efforts to produce successful and cost effective programs and events
•Takes lead as the point of contact for scheduling of events, contract coordination, line item negotiation, and communication amongst internal and external clients and stakeholders
•Provides coordination, direction, and/or supervision of staff for programs and/or events; evaluates issues; researches alternative solutions; and provides recommendations
•Provides resource management to the department and briefs and informs the Director
•Assists in the planning, developing, and promoting of ways to improve community engagement programs
•Manages special event budget; works with internal fiscal department to ensure charges and billing are accurate and executed; manages the purchase and inventory of promotional marketing items for the institution
•Coordinates and cooperates with other administrators, staff, and District Human Resources
•Serves on committees as directed and attends appropriate professional meetings, conferences, and/or workshops
•Assists with marketing and web-page management
•May assist with coordination, management, and supervision of department employment activities including hiring, recruitment, training and payroll processes
•Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
•Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
•Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
•Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

•Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
•Five (5) years related experience
•Experience with computerized systems

Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

•Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
•Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
