Job Summary

The Transfer Articulation Analyst has several key accountabilities that require comprehensive knowledge, good judgment, and decision making to accurately determine the transferability of courses that are instrumental in the educational success of students. Decisions made in processing can affect a student’s matriculation, enrollment, financial aid, and graduation. As requirements regularly change, attention to detail is a must. Required to interpret and apply the principles of FERPA to all student records for communication and verifying information both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of college calendar, policies, and procedures and appropriate federal and state laws and guidelines, as well as institutional guidelines regarding articulation of transfer credit. Represent JCCC and the Enrollment Management team within various organizations and interdepartmental meetings.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years of experience working with student records or other confidential materials
- Experience in position requiring significant data entry
- Teamwork and experience in a diverse environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in the admission office at a regionally accredited institution of higher education
