Core responsibilities include conducting neuropsychological testing on subjects, ages 25-100+, and preparing case reports for dementia diagnostic meetings. Testing will take place primarily in the clinic, however, research assistants are expected to make home visits as well on a regular basis. Additional core responsibilities will include leading specific projects, both short and long-term. Given the wide range of projects that include cognitive aging, Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), there is a myriad of tasks that range from data entry to presenting to collaborators from other academic institutions and private industry. The position also requires some technical skills given the integration of smartphones, wearable devices, and other technologies in the data collection process and the use of post-processing applications for digital voice, pen, and other digital data streams.

Required Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience required
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Conduct neuropsychology testing
  • Write dementia review summary reports
  • Managing all details associated with assigned projects (e.g., daily operations e.g., serves as “go to” person for all research assistants, other staff, investigators
    (BU, national, international)
  • Provide research assistant support to study investigators/collaborators
  • Provide tech support to participants
  • Improve operational efficiencies and better integration of overlapping tasks across projects/team members & provide written documentation of any changes in procedures
