Financial Analyst - Internal Medicine Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 202009286321 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $41,300 - $81,400 Position Information The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the internal medicine department. Under general supervision of the Finance and Administrative Officer (FAO), the incumbent will assist in financial transactions, review of budgets, conduct reconciliation activities, understand and apply accounting principles and university policies to work to support accuracy of financial data for the department. Minimum Requirements Ability to function as a member of a team.
Basic knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Acquiring ability to gather reasonably retrievable information to organize and perform basic financial analysis assignments.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Basic knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
Basic proficiency using spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports.
Basic interpersonal skills; broad service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. Under management guidance, uses organizational skills to multi-task in a high volume environment.
