Job Summary

Provide specialized input and oversight for collegewide assessment data collection and reporting through the learning management system.

Essential Functions

Oversee and maintain assessment database, including learning outcomes, and ensuring alignment to assessment tools, reports, and artifacts. Review and update changes to curriculum in the learning management system.

Provide guidance and training to faculty related to use of assessment tools and the learning management system. Coordinate with faculty and administration to ensure districtwide participation in assessment.

Generate queries and reports on course, program, college, and co-curricular assessment and communicate results to departments and for accreditation purposes. Maintain the LMS assessment system and make adjustments as necessary.

Work with assessment-based projects for Academic Affairs and the Assessment Commission as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two or more years related experience; 4 years of professional level experience with assessment data collection and reporting through a LMS can substitute for the degree; Strong communication skills; ability to work in fast paced, environment with patience, flexibility, and attention to detail; high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications; demonstrated experience working in a team based environment.

Desired Qualifications

Community college experience; assessment experience, knowledge of Blackboard, Banner, and/or other learning management systems; teaching experience.
