Job Description Summary:

Husson University is seeking an experienced statistician to develop and instruct an upper-level online course in statistical modeling. This course covers statistical models widely used in data analytics including time series models, Markov chains, Game Theory, Bayesian probability, contagion models, and queuing theory. Model applications include but are not limited to logistics, computational biology, and environmental science.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position involves developing a course in statistical modeling for online instruction and teaching the course in spring 2021. Experience with the Canvas learning management system as well as online course development and instruction is preferred.

Education and Experience:

A Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics is required; PhD preferred.

The successful applicant will work with Math faculty and the Department of Online Education to develop the course during the fall of 2020 and winter of 2021. Instruction will begin in spring 2021.
