Assisting the Director with the development and implementation of the Student Industry Fellows Program as the Primary Project Manager; Developing and Executing a supporting Business Development Strategy;

Management of the SIFP Program and related Course Design components including marketing/promotion, enrollment, and event planning; and Supporting the Outreach and Development with industry, non-profit, and governmental sector partners (limited in-state/local travel with Director will be required).

Additionally, the position will involve general office support with the inclusion of clerical and administrative duties related to program and business development within the Office of University Experiential Learning.

The Office of Experiential Learning articulates and implements the vision for experiential learning at UGA that empowers every student to apply their learning in real-world contexts, equipping them with the competencies and expanded perspectives to thrive. This position primarily supports the program and business development functions of the Office, with a focus on the design, delivery, and administration of the Student Industry Fellows Program which is supported by the Delta Air Lines Foundation. A signature program within UGA’s Innovation District, the SIFP is part of a unique ecosystem of talent, creativity and infrastructure that brings students from a range of disciplines together to solve emergent and pressing challenges through unique, cross-disciplinary courses and experiences.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in PositionKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Excellent Written, Oral, and Communication skills; Ability to use Independent Judgement and Work with Limited Supervision; Organizational skills; Physical and Digital Networking Capabilities; and Project Management Skills. Preferred (but not required) skills include a working knowledge and/or experience with MS Excel and MS Teams. Applicants with an interest in consulting, corporate relations, entrepreneurship, business development, and/or high education program development are encouraged to apply.
