The Department of Urology seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator, Non-Licensed. The Department of Urology has 10 full-time clinical faculty and a long-standing history of research excellence. The Clinical Research Coordinator will work closely with faculty, study subjects, and other research staff and are involved in most steps of the research trial process. They function under the Principal Investigator's medical license and cannot perform any tasks that by state or local law require a medical license to perform. They work independently and have the authority to adapt methods and procedures to meet the project needs. Opportunities for leadership are available.
Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants.
Help develop and provide education and related materials to particpants.
Collect subject data, enter and analyze data, and compile reports. Prepare documentation, reports, graphs, and other materials. Keep appropriate logs, track participants, and prepare study materials.
Process, prepare and ship laboratory specimens.
Compile and submit study protocols and amendments, consent forms, and recruiting materials to the Institutional Review Board and related University department.
Participate in monthly research conference with faculty and residents.
Help develop and write study protocols, grant applications.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree with at least one year of clinical research experience.
Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) and/or Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) with four years experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
**Must be able to attend clinic and meet in-person with subjects and physicians.
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
This position will remain open until filled. This is an Exempt level, benefited position. This is a restricted position contingent upon the continuation of funding.
