Performs Patient Access functions of a specialized nature requiring the application and interpretation of policies and procedures and requiring the use of independent judgment in a medical setting.
- Gathers and/or verifies insurance and/or PCP information.
- Provides services in a way that maximizes satisfaction and loyalty of those served by Patient Access and maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Follows all other Patient Access policies and procedures.
- Performs area-specific support activities.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: No experience required
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
