Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional individual to support administrative and research activities in the off-site (UCI Research Park) laboratories of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Time will be split supporting administrative needs, facilities, ordering, and scheduling needs of the research teams in Theory (3 PIs, ~30 research staff). Duties include routine administrative tasks (scheduling, coordinating travel), lab management-related functions (ordering, receiving), and technical administrative tasks relating to coordinating facilities requests. There are opportunities for significant on-the-job training for all of the above tasks. Please note: this is not a research position.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $19.36 - $20.49

Required:

BA or BS degree (chemistry/biology/biomedical science experience a plus)

Expertise in basic office productivity tools (MS/Google office suite)

Familiarity with vector drawing tools (e.g. illustrator)

Effective written and oral communication skills

Team Oriented

Proficiency in maintaining complex calendars, managing varying priorities, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, etc.

Preferred:

Working knowledge of UCI forms, policies and procedures.
