This position will support faculty and administration to facilitate medical student curriculum. This position is responsible for communication and collaboration with various other departments, faculty, and students at the College of Medicine – Phoenix Campus on a daily basis. This role serves as the liaison between the campus and numerous clinical sites. This position is responsible for the administration functions of the department and will contribute to event planning, students scheduling, calendaring, data analysis, budgeting, cost negation, and program evaluation aspects of the department.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with faculty to facilitate courses and certificates of distinctions for medical students. 
  • Provide operational support for Clinical Directors, Site Directors and Site Coordinators. 
  • Responsible for maintaining program information in on-line curriculum management system and scheduling system. 
  • Responsible for calendars and scheduling for paid and volunteer faculty that facilitate curriculum. 
  • Understand and apply program requirements advising students on required components.
  • Responsible for department's administrative duties. 
  • Develops and facilitates seminars, workshops, meetings, conferences;  coordinates  logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
  • Responsible for room and course scheduling for all program requirements/ curriculum on campus, meetings, events. 
  • Maintains training manuals for the department. 
  • Supports campus committee meetings. 
  • Liaison for video conference system to support on-line meetings.
  • Collects and analyzes data to assess and evaluate effectiveness of an academic program.
  • Interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating university and campus policies and procedures.
  • Liaison to Faculty Affairs to assist the clinical sites with Faculty Title process.
  •  Liaison to Financial Service Office for travel and reimbursement policies. 
  •  Liaison to Student Affairs for Site Affiliation Agreement process for on boarding new clinical sites.
  • Responsible for collecting program data and submitting funding reports by deadline. May contribute to funding opportunities preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs), grant applications and other contracts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
