Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:

Teaching, research, and service. Standard teaching load is nine credit hours per semester. Other responsibilities include research in the field of mathematics, advising students, and service to the department, college and university.

Educational Requirements for the Position:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related field, a strong commitment to quality teaching, and be active in research. In particular, we seek applicants in the fields of analysis or applied mathematics and whose research complements our current faculty interests in these areas.

Experience Required for the Position:

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to quality teaching, research, and academic service.

Special Instructions Summary:

Submit an AMS cover sheet, a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, teaching statement, research statement, and at least three letters of reference, at least two of which address the candidate’s research potential and at least one of which addresses the candidate’s teaching.
