Position Description:
The Depression Grand Challenge team seeks a fund manager to provide a full spectrum of services for managing the funds of a new department for a campus-wide initiative based in the Research & Creative Activities office. The fund manager will work with the Executive Director, the Financial Officer, colleagues in other departments and faculty principal investigators (PIs) to proactively manage and maintain fiscal control over extramural, campus, and restricted and unrestricted gift funds. Key responsibilities are to: (1) manage department funds including maintaining accurate projections of balances, expenditures and potential shortfalls; and (2) day-to-day manage specific grant, campus and gift funds from pre-preproposal through award close-out. The successful candidate has university fund management experience with a preference for UC/UCLA experience.
