Required Education/Experience:

Completion of two semesters of inorganic and organic chemistry, including labs.

Hours per Week

Up to 20 hours per week.

Our company specializes in mid-scale chemical production, process improvement, and R&D. Current areas of concentration are in health supplements, cosmetic, and dye industries. This position involves assisting the chemists with various tasks such as washing glassware, making chemical solutions, routine maintenance of production equipment, assistance setting up lab experiments and analyses (GCMS, IR, HPLC). The student will have opportunity to be mentored and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Chemical engineering classes and previous laboratory or chemical production experience is a plus.
