The position will perform independent experiments involving models of chronic pain and addiction in vivo. The laboratory has a highly interactive environment that promotes professional development and achievement of the individual and the lab. Thus, candidates should be highly motivated and possess a desire to work with a team in addition to conducting individual research projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Will assist in experiments in vivo mouse pain models with the behavioral measurement of opioid analgesia and side effects.
  • Assist with experiments to test novel hypotheses, with data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with others in the lab or with collaborators on various research projects
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High schooldiploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required
