Ensure compliance with the printmaking studio rules for safe storage and use of hazardous chemicals and the use of machinery and tools during open studio hours, allowing printmaking students to safely work in the studio outside of class. Maintain inventories of printmaking supplies, tools and equipment.
Additional responsibilities include assisting the Operations Manager in broader operational activities for the Art department.
This is a temporary, non-benefited position. The work schedule is flexible with about 15 hours per week.
Knowledge of processes and familiarity with tools, materials, and equipment used in traditional art media, as well as contemporary health, safety, and environmental standards for studio workplaces.
