Layout and fabrication of specialty systems to support vacuum pumps, vertical turbine pumps, multistage turbine pumps, cooling towers, valves, heat exchanger, water treatment equipment, hot water boilers, helium purifiers, air dryers, high pressure gas systems, cryogenic systems and deionized water systems. Troubleshoot and perform breakdown maintenance on the equipment listed above along with numerous other state of art systems; some welding will be performed. Installation of new systems and equipment, including carpentry, plumping, machining, painting, and welding. General millwright work. Setting equipment, alignment, rigging layout and setup. Order parts, contact vendors, and general paperwork.Qualifications Bachelor's degree; or a high diploma/equivalent and experience equal to four years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

Experience pipefitting as a journeyman pipefitter working on large and various types of equipment and materials.
Experience with reading and interpreting complex written specifications and conditions.
Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Skill in basic computer operations and functions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.Preferred Welding experience.
Trade school or on job experience is preferred.
Experience and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of equipment and machinery used in area of work.
Knowledge of the practices and the ability to perform skilled carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other related trades work.Other Information A skills test will be required upon interview.
