Job Responsibilities

Supervise accounting staff that perform general accounting functions. Ensures accurate accounting transactions, proper documentations, reconciliations, cash management oversight, and assist with auditor request. Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring budget process and yearend closeout. Assist in developing reports submitted to state and federal agencies. Assist in reviewing and revising accounting procedures to ensure compliance.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

SBTCE Minimum: Bachelor's degree plus 15 semester hours in accounting related courses plus 4 years professional experience in related area (i.e.. accounting, auditing, banking, or finance).

Preferred Qualifications

NETC Preferred: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field plus 4 years professional experience in a related area, such as accounting, auditing, finance or banking plus 3 years of supervisory experience. CPA, GFO Certification, or Master in Accounting. Proficient using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Zoom, MS Teams, and Outlook in managing duties and tasks. Ability to assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures on various topics as well as develop fillable forms for efficiency.

Additional Comments

Driver's License required and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
