The Medical Education Specialist will work closely with the Student Service Specialist, Vice Chair of Education, Residency Director, Fellowship Directors and Skills Lab Director to coordinate the department’s educational mission. This mission includes UME, GME,CME and educational resources (Resident Library / Skills Lab).

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must be willing to work with biological specimens.
Must be willing to participate in skills lab exercises.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with the following software applications:
MedHub, MS Office, WebEx, MentorLearn.
Experience with medical simulators.
Previous work experience in a medical simulation environment.
Experience working with biological specimens in a surgical teaching environment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
