The primary purpose of this position is to manage all administrative aspects of multiple educational programs, both graduate and undergraduate, in the Dept. of Microbiology & Immunology. This responsibility encompasses all aspects of the student’s life and includes, but is not limited to, graduation, counseling, payroll, curriculum management, payment of tuition, and event management.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Candidates for this position must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent organization skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, and the ability to work independently and in a group setting.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of People Soft (i.e. Connect Carolina), university finance, and human resources systems are highly preferred. At least 2 years experience as a Student Services Specialist or similar position is preferred.
