The head and neck oncology lab is seeking a highly skilled, ambitious and motivated postdoc to perform a translational cancer research project. The lab is well funded by NIH. Open projects are focused on novel aspects of HPV-induced carcinogenesis in head and neck, DNA damage repair, evolution of the cancer genome, mechanisms of transcriptional dysregulation, and cancer sub-classification methods. Our group strives to integrate cutting edge genomic and bioinformatic techniques with established methods cell biology and biochemistry.

Educational Requirements

Candidates must have a Ph.D., preferably in the biological sciences, biochemistry or related fields.

Qualifications and Experience

Preference will be given to individuals who are now completing their thesis work and have at least one high-impact publication. Previous experience with basic techniques in molecular biology and biochemistry are required. Experience in statistics, data visualization, or computer programming is desirable but not required.
