Duties & Responsibilities

Alumni Engagement:

Create and implement an overall comprehensive One-College approach to a MEZCOPH alumni engagement strategy working with all departments, programs, centers, student affairs office and development. This includes alumni from undergraduate and graduate programs through in-person, online, certificate, and global programs.

  • Facilitates programs and activities designed to connect alumni to opportunities for engagement, advocacy or service, and giving;
  • Connects alumni with strategic engagement opportunities across MEZCOPH’s Departments including: Career Development, Marketing, Global Programs, Academic Affairs and development;
  • Manages and update alumni database and respond to various alumni requests;
  • Provides regular updates to the UADP Records Team to make MEZCOPH alumni updates in Lynx;
  • Leads alumni engagement on the MEZCOPH’s LinkedIn Groups;
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive alumni volunteer program to include but not limited to MEZCOPH Alumni Advisory Council and Reunion Planning/ Gift Committees;
  • Works with the Office of Students Affairs to support the development of a MEZCOPH Alumni Career and Mentor program that assists alumni with posting of job opportunities, career transitions, mentoring each other or current students;
  • Participates in UADP alumni relations forums for best practice sharing,tools and resources for alumni engagement, and professionaldevelopment opportunities to stay abreast of new trends and models for alumniengagement programming.

Special Events:

  • Plans and executes several strategic alumni engagement events throughout the year, many involving alumni volunteer committees, including: Homecoming, Alumni Awards Celebrations, and Alumni Receptions across the U.S.;
  • Assists other team members with logistics for other departmental events and meetings;
  • Works collaboratively with the development and communication directors on various programs such as (but not limited to) Dean’s Circle of Alumni, homecoming, career services, awards and recognition.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
