Educational and Experience Requirement
Associate’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management, Education, or other related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Three years of experience in higher education or experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs advanced specialist duties for the Visitor Services department.

Primary Responsibilities
Serves as a part of the Recruitment Specialist team for Visitor Services. Plans and coordinates the ExCEL recruitment events. Communicates with on and off-campus partners regarding programming efforts to promote the university to prospective students and families. Serves as an effective advocate for Visitor Services to build positive relationships with campus partners in order to ensure quality recruitment opportunities are available to all campus visitors. Provides support for the following areas/programs: Jr. Bearkats, Group Tours, and Summer Camps. Assists with the daily operations of Visitor Services, including coordinating tours and giving recruitment presentations for both large and small groups. Other duties may include planning of and participation in bi-annual staff training and retreats. Assists with coordinating Saturday visitation programs and the bi-annual Campus Preview Days ([email protected]). Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications
Requires a general knowledge of standard office functions. Requires good knowledge of procedures and practices. Must be able to use standard office software. Must be able to apply policies and procedures and solve routine problems of a repetitive nature.
