Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The RMA/CMA is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The RMA/CMA is under the overall on-site supervision of the Neurology Supervisor.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

May carry items including medical records and medical supplies weighing less than 25 pounds for short distances.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required:
- RMA/CMA
- Previous front and back office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience
- Proof of Registration/Certification
- Current CPR card
- Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care. Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.

Preferred:
-Previous reception, scheduling and medical records
-Experience with EPIC
-Bilingual translations skills
