The Administrative Specialist will work as the administrative support to the Department Chairs on the campus of Albany State University. Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience; must have at least three (3) years of clerical or office administrative experience; good computer knowledge and experience. Testing Requirements: BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED. Illustrative Examples of Work: Assists in all administrative functions and student support of the Social Work Department to include student registration, admissions, recruiting, and student record management. Assists with designing the program's marketing brochures, web page and student enrollment. Must be able to work independently by maintaing office, arranges and coordinates students' visits, conferences and meetings with Department Chair and faculty.
