The Administrative Specialist Coordinator will provide the administrative support necessary to sustain the two department Chairs and faculty members of both the Criminal Justice and Social Work programs. The individual must be able to exercise sound independent judgment, applying highly developed technical and interpersonal skills. The Administrative Specialist Coordinator is responsible for supporting the two Chairs in the timely and efficient operation of day-to-day activities, including the completion of reports, data entry, etc.

Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required for conferences, workshops, and recruitment events Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience; must have at least three (3) years of clerical or office administrative experience; good computer knowledge and experience. Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: Assists in all administrative functions and student support of the Social Work and Criminal Justice Departments to include student registration, admissions, recruiting, and student record management. Assists with designing the program's marketing brochures, web page and student enrollment. Must be able to work independently by maintaing office, arranges and coordinates students' visits, conferences and meetings with Department Chairs and faculty.
