ASU is seeking highly qualified experienced school leaders to provide coaching to principals and school leadership teams in schools that would benefit from comprehensive support and improvement efforts. The Educational Leadership Coach (EI.CJ provides professional learning and coaching to school leader candidates to drive change in teacher practice, student achievement, and instructional effectivenes,i. The ELC is assigned to model change and assist school leader candidate at identified partner school(s). The number of schools may vary dependent on the number of candidates in the service area. The expected result is to decrease the student achievement gap and provide for overall increase in student achievement. Training and Experience: At a minimum, the Educational Leadership Coach will possess a master's in educational leadership or an equivalent field {public administration, for example) or documented evidence of five or more years successful school or district leadership and/or three years of higher education experience in Educational Leadership or higher education administration. An Ed.S. or higher in educational leadership is preferred.

Additional qualifications include:

? Minimum 3 years at School Principal level
? Experienced in leadership coaching
? Extensive experience in using data to inform instructional decisions.
? Expert level knowledge of standards-based planning and instruction.
? Experience as a professional learning facilitator
? Extensive knowledge of standards-based teaching and learning.
? Ability to coach school level leaders to increased knowledge, skill, and action
? Proven ability to adapt and integrate new technology

The Educational Leadership Coach will demonstrate these preferred dispositions
? Meets ethical and professional standards
? Establishes trust with those supervised and with school district partners
? Maintains a coaching presence including flexibility, openness, and confidence
? Actively listens
? Uses questioning techniques appropriate for collecting various types of feedback
? Uses appropriate communication techniques that elicit the engagement of others in focusing on the task at hand
? Able to integrate and accurately evaluation multiple sources of information to draw conclusions and help others draw conclusions to get the desired results
? Able to design and lead others to design actions that result in development of skills in others, resolution of workplace problems, improvement of desired outcomes
? Skilled in planning and goal setting
? Skilled in conflict resolution Testing Requirements: A background check is required. Illustrative Examples of Work: ? Provide coaching to school leader candidates to create strong leadership and instructional
practices.
? Utilize trending data and school data to support leaders in decision making and planning.
? Prioritize tasks in a manner that best accomplishes strategic goals.
? Assist candidates in communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders through multiple means of communication including written data reports, onsite and virtual discussions and presentations.
? Provide comprehensive leadership and feedback to candidates.
? Coach candidates to assure fidelity of implementation of the change project through informal and formal methods.
? Remain current on local concerns, educational trends and unique needs that may affect outcome of school improvement efforts.
? Complete appropriate documentation related to change project implementation efforts and ensure collection of research data as specified by project needs.
? Collaborate and participate in internal comprehensive reviews for continuous improvement.
? Assist in developing and implementing the candidate's Individual Growth Plan based on feedback from the NASSP Assessment Center. Posting Date: 07-03-2020 Closing Date:
