Posting DetailsPosting Number: 0601187 Position Category: Project Coordinator 1 Job Title: Project Coordinator 1 Position Code: 510X000 Position Type: Staff Department: Public Administration Nature of Work: The Project coordinator will coordinate project services and project activities, including training, communication and information dissemination, and serve as the contact person for all partners, community instructors, and health educators, provide administrative support to the action councils and serve as the lead in community/partnership-based activities of the project. Training and Experience: Bachelors degree required with at least (2) years of work experience in administrative role is required. Experience working with community organizations and related projects that involve youth preferred. High ethical and professional standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a high paced environment with competing demands for time. High level competency in Microsoft Office Tools Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: -Meeting with the project Manager and Key personnel to understand all vital aspects of the project
-Reporting to the project manager
-Liaising with all the partners that are involved in the project
-Ensuring that all partners understand the scope of the project as well as what there individually responsible for
-Making schedules of what needs to be completed by what date including meetings, professional development, and professional learning communities
-supervise undergraduate and graduate student assistants
-Preparing and maintaining complete records of events.
-Compiling and maintaining project reports and minutes of meetings
-Communicating relevant information to all partners such as change in schedule dates, changes in project requirements, etc.
-Being involved in all aspects of the project including the planning stages
-Helping in the execution of the project
-Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
-Work with the Project Manager to eliminate barriers and solve problems
-Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
-Performing routine office tasks such as filing, answering phone and answering general questions about the project. Posting Date: 09-18-2020 Closing Date:
