Posting DetailsPosting Number: 0601191 Position Category: Teacher AD Job Title: Math Center Coordinator (East Campus) Position Code: 00474X Position Type: Staff Department: Academic Affairs Nature of Work: Responsible for providing laboratory instruction and tutorial assistance in math. The candidate will coordinate and be responsible for staffing the math lab and for working with the department chair of the mathematics and computer science department to ensure student success. Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in math required, but a graduate level degree in mathematics is preferred. Supervisory experience is required as well as experience in the management and daily operations of a mathematics lab. Skill sin tutoring students in lab supported math courses and college algebra Good organization, good communication skills and excellent computer skills. Testing Requirements:Illustrative Examples of Work: Provides laboratory instruction, monitors the activities of the math lab, tutors and assists teachers with developing plans and programs for the respective component.

Manages and inventories equipment in the math lab, supervises student lab monitors, keeps a record of the daily attendance in the lab, provides activities to support classroom instruction.

Provides academic advisement for students in the unit, serves on departmental, college and university-wide committees, participates in university functions and assumes other duties as assigned. Posting Date: 09-30-2020 Closing Date:
