Selected individuals will be responsible for the daily cage cleaning and sanitation of animal caging and equipment. Weekend and holiday work required occasionally on as needed bases. Required during adverse weather and/or other emergency situations.

Cagewash techs do not have hands-on interactions with animals, but they must for comfortable working in the field. Weekend and holiday work required occasionally on a rotating basis. Emergency duties required during adverse weather and/or other emergency situations.

Work ScheduleM-F, 7:00am or 7:30am to 3:30pm or 4:00pm and rotating weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) overtime of 4 hours each day (approximately every 5th weekend). This position is required to be on-site.Other Work/ResponsibilitiesMinimum Experience/Education

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Must be willing to work in a very physical environment. Must have a demonstrated ability to work well with others. Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate. Requires a demonstrated ability to follow a set work schedule. Must be comfortable with being around animals when they are euthanized.
