Hiring Department Biology ResponsibilitiesProvides technical support to the discovery and development of new product ideas or strategic product extensions. Participates in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of product development scientists and engineers. Collects and classifies new product ideas. Captures specifications for product requirements and functionality.

  • Helping with data analysis
  • Managing undergraduates working in the lab
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in the life sciences or related field
  • Applies acquired technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform routine and straightforward activities
  • Continues to develop skills to perform routine activities
  • Basic understanding of standard molecular biology techniques (DNA purification, PCR, gel electrophoresis)
  • Skills that are not necessarily required but previous experience would be an asset include: microscopy, plant care, preparation and analysis of DNA sequencing reactions.
