The instrumental music teacher will teach clarinet to a group of elementary age children.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach elementary age children a wind or string instrument (cello, violin, flute, clarinet or trumpet)
Work with children and parents (when appropriate) during weekly group lessons. Teach combined groups of different instruments according to the annual schedule.
Assist with large group rehearsals.
Education/Experience: Excellent instrumental music performer (violin, cello, flute, clarinet or trumpet). Experience teaching music instruments (violin, flute, cello clarinet or trumpet) to children in group and individual settings. Bachelors degree preferred.
Skills: Ability to form positive and supportive relationships with children and adults. Ability to be flexible and work as a member of a team. Ability to communicate clearly with children and families.
Schedule: Wednesday mornings, 8:30-12:30.
