2+ years customer service experience.
Experienced problem-solver working independently, learn LIMS system and lab test information, and accurately relay information to clients.
In this comprehensive position, the client services representative will be the first point of contact (via telephone and in person) for all clients of the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. This incumbent will courteously and efficiently handle and/or route client inquiries and concerns to the appropriate areas with the lab or University. This incumbent will also conduct technical administrative work in the collection, maintenance and distribution of administrative data used to produce reports which require analysis and comparisons. Lastly, this incumbent will assist the Accounting/Administrative Team and Director with administrative tasks.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Familiarity with multi-line phone and standard office equipment (copier, scanner, fax).

-Quality assurance and quality control: Attention to detail and handling sensitive/confidential information.
-Technical laboratory knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology.

CSR – serve as the client services representative for the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
•Receive in-coming calls to the Laboratory and route calls to other faculty and staff as needed
•Accurately record voice messages and promptly remit to appropriate staff members
•Provide answers to client questions on general matters such as test schedules, fees, etc.
•Maintain a log of all incoming phone calls
•Maintain the answering machine to assure that the appropriate greeting message is recorded at the end of each day
•Greet onsite visitors and clients, directing them where to drop samples or to the appropriate person or departments
•Monitor and maintain AVDL email address when covering phones. This includes responding to any emails from clients, forwarding test results to appropriate staff, addressing failed fax and failed email report messages promptly
•Answer any chats coming in from website chat function
•Package and send supplies to clients including UPS labels, Specimen bags, Courier drop boxes, and BVD kits
•Process credit card payments from client and maintain daily credit card log
•Set-up new client accounts for online results/ bill payment access
•Assist clients with use of online account system
•Enter UPS charges, outside lab charges, and courier charges on client accounts
•Assist with contacting clients by phone to collect on accounts with a balance over 30 days
•Maintain AVDL listserv, birthday list, and employee contact list as new employees arrive or employees depart
•In consultation with Administrative Manager, plan and organize laboratory social functions such as birthday celebrations and various holiday parties
•Perform other business-related tasks as assigned by the Administrative Manager or the Director

•Enter submission information and results into VetView as directed by the Case Manager, Business Manager or Administrative Manager
