Job Summary

The Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky (CEDIK) seeks a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Research Scientist. The Research Scientist will plan and initiate research on community and economic development that supports CEDIK faculty, and community organizations in Kentucky. The position will also be responsible for grant writing, which includes researching potential funding sources; write, review, and edit proposals and letters of intent following funding guidelines, parameters and procedures; and assist CEDIK faculty in proposal development.

Two years experience in economics; research; grant acquisition; grant writing and editing; manuscript and brief writing; training; and/or outreach preferred.
