Provide direct supportive patient care to eligible patients under the direction of nurses and providers. The Medical Assistant works closely and collaborates with providers, nurses, and the patient care team to support clinic functions. Position reports to and is directly supervised by the Nursing Manager or the Manager, Women's Health. Interact with students, nursing staff, physicians, medical records, cashier, laboratory, pharmacy.,Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Other Required Qualifications
The job requires one who is task and detail inixperienceted; flexible, and able to perfinm multiple, various tasks concurrxperiencetly. Excellxperiencet communications skills are required as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems that are varied di nature.
One to three years of job related experience
Experience in outpatient ambulatory care
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, email, and basic keyboarding; interpersonal skills to work effectively with other individuals (co-workers, supervisor, students, providers, staff and the public) in the performance of job duties; ability to demonstrate consistent cooperativeness, courtesy and tact in the handling of job responsibilities; must be dependable.
