Job Description:

Perform oral prophylaxis, place sealants, fluoride varnish/SDF for pediatric patients in the University of Florida Dental Outreach Program in Naples, Florida, as permitted by Florida law. Instruct, evaluate, and supervise pediatric patients in oral hygiene education and preventive dental techniques.

Complete appropriate extra- and intra-oral examinations, chart, maintain dental histories, take blood pressure readings and document treatment rendered into an dental electronic record system.

Participates in dental in-service training and lectures. Attend meetings (as required). Maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification, dental radiology certification, and registered dental hygienist (RDH) licensure.

Perform related duties (as necessary).

Expected Salary:

$15.45 per hour, commensurate with education/experience

Minimum Requirements:

Licensed as a dental hygienist in accordance with Chapter 466, Florida Statutes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Licensed as a dental hygienist in accordance with Chapter 466, Florida Statutes

- Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
