The Natural Resource Management Department’s work study creates a cohesive environment for the Natural Resource Management Department by providing support to faculty and administration activities through the semester. He/she is detailed oriented, completes tasks in a timely manner, and remains actively engaged in the daily activities of the Natural Resource Management Department. The work study will respect FERPA and support student success.



  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Learn new skills as necessary.
  • Comfortably operate Microsoft Office software.
  • Support students, faculty, and administration in a positive professional manner.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, attention to details, and be solution oriented.
  • Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
  • Ability to work between 15 hours per week.
Staffing ReasonWork StudyPrimary Responsibilities

Student worker will perform a variety of tasks including general office responsibilities of filing, organizing, copying, and shredding documents; picking up daily mail at Sul Ross post office and other assigned duties as needed.
