The Animal Science Department’s work study creates a cohesive environment for the Animal Science Department by providing support to faculty and administration activities through the semester. He/she is detailed oriented, completes tasks in a timely manner, and remains actively engaged in the daily activities of the Animal Science Department. The work study will respect FERPA and support student success.Preferred
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Learn new skills as necessary.
- Comfortably operate Microsoft Office software.
- Support students, faculty, and administration in a positive professional manner.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, attention to details, and be solution oriented.
- Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
- Ability to work between 15 hours per week.
Student worker will perform a variety of tasks including general office responsibilities of filing, organizing, copying, and shredding documents; picking up daily mail at Sul Ross post office and other assigned duties as needed.Other Information
