Position Summary:

Under general direction, incumbent is responsible for management and coordination of accreditation related tasks for 700+ resident and fellow physicians and 63+ training programs. This includes policy interpretation, implementation of procedures to support effective and efficient operations, and ensuring compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and University policies. Maintains and provides educational support for program management software (Online Rotation Schedule Database, PlanSource and New Innovations). Provides additional human resource support as needed. Acts as liaison to other departments and affiliate sites as needed. Reports to the Director of Graduate Medical Education and the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education.

Applies acquired skills, process, and policy knowledge to support Graduate Medical Education training programs, resident and fellow physicians, and GME Leadership. Coordinates Graduate Medical Education accreditation operations, which include trainee scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking trainee compliance and program accreditation compliance.

$21.60-$32.90

Required:

3-5 years of related work experience. Working knowledge of University accounting and procedures to accomplish standard departmental accounting transactions. Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience/training.

Communication skills; includes verbal, written and active listening. Service oriented and responsive to questions and requests. Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner. Investigative, data analysis, and reporting skills. Ability to generate computer reports, checking for errors, correcting and submitting accurate reports. Skills include entering, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data in electronic systems. Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to work with extremely complex faculty calendars / schedules requires extremely well organized and detail oriented precision. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships within department and with learners Knowledge of educational technology and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and triages related technology issues.

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of health professions education industry. Basic knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Acquiring skills in developing and implementing processes and systems. Familiarity with the administrative and operational implications in a program.

Special Conditions Required:

This position may be asked to come in early or work late to assist with various events throughout the academic year.
