The Biostatistics Division in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks a post-doctoral research associate to work with Dr. Sarah Ratcliffe. The post-doc will participate in developing novel methods and algorithm tools to characterize allograft quality and predict transplant outcomes. The selected candidate will be expected to participate in the development of publications for peer-reviewed journals, as well as on grant proposals to funding agencies.
Candidates must have a PhD in biostatistics, statistics or a related quantitative field, required in hand by appointment start date. Experience in joint modeling and predictive analytics analysis is preferred, including proficiency in R and Stata. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
