This position will support the operations of the Framingham Heart Study Brain Aging Program (FHS-BAP). Administrative responsibilities include (1) scheduling, setting up and coordinating regular meetings for the FHS-BAP core/project leaders, for individual projects/cores, and for the External Advisory Board (EAB), the NIA and the core/lroject leaders, (2) managing all administration details across the 4 Cores and 3 Projects, (3) assisting all Core and Project co-leaders with administrative tasks within their Core/Project, (4) making sure all projects remain IRB compliant, progress reports are submitted on time, (5) assisting with hiring and onboarding of staff, and working with any Core/Project managers to ensure the logistics across the entire program operations of are running smoothly and within specified timelines. While some essential operations are already well developed, identifying new ways to improve already existing protocols and procedures is an on-going process. Further , for newer Cores and all Projects, operations/logistics that have not been previously well-developed will need monitoring for opportunities for changes and increased efficiency. Management responsibilities include helping the Principal Investigator manage the entire program operation that includes faculty and staff numbering around 50 people, with additional student interns and numerous collaborators both within and outside of BU, helping the PIs meet all administrative goals, monitoring progress across multiple projects, managing the content of the Program website, and interacting and coordinating efforts with FHS, internal and external collaborators, and the FHS-BAP External Advisory Board, and the NIH.

Required Skills

1 to 3 years of work experience and a Bachelors degree required.
