Hiring Department Facilities ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the administration of fiscal and business processes for the Planning, Design, and Construction and Utilities departments.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES

    Create, manage and maintain electronic files on each utility’s activity by tracking invoices and usage numbers. Accurately process and manage departmental financial information using two software systems in a timely manner.¿ Review monthly income and expenditure statements, reconcile account activities, investigate discrepancies, and report findings. Compile, verify and prepare materials and information to comply with required reports, surveys, analysis, etc. Assist Planning, Design, and Construction staff as needed during the lifetime of a project. Answer questions and advise contractors and consultants on applicable university policies and procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate requirements. Process purchase requests, orders, and invoices through our Shared Services.
Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of administrative experience working in design/construction project management organizations.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
