Salary Information:$9.50 per hour
Job Summary:Serve as the initial contact with Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness. Communicate with members and the general public in a friendly, knowledgeable and courteous manner. The position focuses on member service, membership retention and promotion.
Essential Functions:Support the mission of Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness by staffing the membership desk.
Greet members, participants, staff and general public in a friendly and courteous manner and verify all members and participants using the facility.
Keep membership center and lobby clean and well organized.
Answer phone lines according to Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness phone procedures.
Handle complaints in a friendly and courteous manner.
Work with the membership team to reach projected sales and prospecting goals.
Notify appropriate staff of any unsafe conditions, complaints, needed repairs, incidents, or accidents immediately.
Operate the CSI system as directed.
Collect and stay informed of appropriate fees; including being responsible for cash and receipts.
Give tours and educate members and prospective members on services, programs, events and volunteer opportunities.
Schedule and confirm appointments specific to prospecting, accounts receivables, financial aid and membership terminations.
Conduct daily membership operations as per standards outlined in the new associate training manual.
Attend community functions and events to promote the Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness, its mission and programs.
Required Qualifications:Strong communication skills including phone skills.
Ability to make independent and sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
Ability to undergo an extensive training specific to daily operations, membership tours and prospecting.
Ability to reflect a positive attitude and teamwork.
Basic math skills for handling fees.
Must have or obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
Must complete Membership Associate Onboarding Training within 90 days of hire.
Knowledge of current software applications.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
