The University of Wisconsin-University Counseling Services (UCS) of the Norris Health Center seeks a Psychologist/Sr. Psychologist to primarily provide diagnostic evaluations and short-term individual and group therapy clinical services to student clients. Additional responsibilities include: supervise and provide other training of advanced practicum and/or post-doctoral psychology fellows; provide triage screenings and crisis intervention services for students; conduct training’s and other campus outreach services; consult with campus faculty and staff; maintain client records; participate in center quality improvement activities; and complete other duties as assigned. These services are provided within an integrated care model within the Norris Health Center. The Psychologist/Sr. Psychologist would be working as a part of a dynamic team of mental health and medical care professionals (including psychologists, social workers, LPC’s, psychiatrists, post-doctoral fellows, medical staff and mental health trainees) providing services to a diverse, largely young adult population of graduate and undergraduate university students. Unit supported ongoing continuing education is expected. The position features regular. predictable hours, no weekends, excellent benefits, and no insurance paperwork to be completed. This is a full-time, 9- or 12-month position. The position is salaried which is negotiable and will be based on qualification and experience.
