The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a part-time Assistant Specialist I starting January 1, 2021 to help with the coding, analysis and write-up of data collected in an ethnographic study of contemporary art exhibitions in a Natural History Museum. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience with research on collaborations between Native American/Indgenous artists, ethnographic museums, and the critical study of art and religion. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. Degree in Anthropology, Art, Art History, English, Museum Studies or Religion.
Compensation is based on an annual full time salary range starting at $53,300 and is commensurate with teaching experience.
