MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates are expected to have a PhD in astrophysics or a closely-related field by the start date.
- A solid research portfolio
- Strong coding and analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to promoting an inclusive community in astrophysics
- An interest and/or experience working with pulsar timing array data, supermassive black hole binaries, data analysis, gravitational-wave astrophysics.
The desired start date is August 27, 2021 (with flexibility). The initial appointment at UConn is for one year, renewable for an additional year contingent upon satisfactory performance, mutual agreement, and availability of funds. Another year has the potential to be based at the CCA in New York City as a Flatiron Research Fellow.
