Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:45 PM

Department Summary: The University of Alabama seeks someone with the skills and enthusiasm for analysis of federal, state, and accreditation policy, standards, and regulations and the ability to effectively communicate interpretation of such with a diverse academic community.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree and two (2) years of regulatory compliance or higher education accreditation experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of higher education academic policies and procedures and the federal and state regulations and accreditation standards that impact them.

The ability to:
- interpret regulations and policies, analyze UA's compliance with regulations and policies, and design appropriate processes for monitoring compliance;
- attend to details;
- communicate effectively to a variety of constituents in both oral and written formats;
- clearly and objectively present information related to compliance to administrators, staff, and faculty;
- meet deadlines;
- work with databases in addition to other basic computer skills: and
- learn new technology programs.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related fields. Preferred candidates will have experience with federal and state regulations governing higher education, particularly those that involve Professional Licensure Notifications and NC-SARA regulations.
